More and more places now seem to add a 'booking fee' without a second thought when they could surely just as easily put ticket prices up is they need to charge more. It doesn't make sense. My lical theatre/cinema charges a booking fee even when you do to the box-office in person to buy a ticket.

with Vue you can look online to book tickets and it will tell you how many seats are left for the screening, then not complete the booking and buy at the box office. At least you get to choose a seat with Vue. As far as I am aware, Odeon also charge and you still have to get there early enough to find a good seat.
