I'm about to pull the trigger on a Leaf lease as well here in Colorado. Looks like Valley Nissan in Longmont is offering a $2000 check at lease signing which you can use against the taxes or you can put it against your lease to pay it down and skip a few months worth of payments. Instead of having $99+tax as your monthly, it would be $149.

I put the equity toward another lease. A VW Taos S, MSRP: $25,152. My payments are $301 a month for 39 months, 15,000 miles a year.

How Do You Know If A Lease Is A “good Deal?” - Reddit

That said i can tell you right now it’s not a good deal. The Palisade and Telluride have been selling like absolute madness for MSRP (or above). You’re not getting a good deal on one right now. Pilot, Highlander, Minivan, etc. will all lease much better. Hell an Acura MDX can be had for less than $400/month with $0 down.

It says good lease is 1% of the MSRP, so this 75k SUV, you'd like to drive this for 0 down and $750/mo. That may not be possible, market conditions, a hot car, or just personal preference play a part that's why it's a rule of thumb not an absolute.
