Chase Freedom Unlimited vs Flex for first card? : r/CreditCards

I currently have a checkings account at Chase, so I've been looking at their credit cards and am unsure between using CFU or CFF. Unlimited gives 1.5% cash back vs 1% on the flex, but is 0.5% really that big of a difference considering flex gives 5% in rotating categories.
